Packet Filtering
The INVEA-TECH company offers a complete solution for packet filtration and forwarding based on NIFIC product. The NIFIC is a Network Interface Card (NIC) with hardware-accelerated packet filtering and forwarding capabilities. It provides line-rate processing of multiple 1G or 10G Ethernet ports with no packet loss. The device is able to filter packets, pass packets to the host PC operating system or forward packets directly to one or more output network interfaces. The packet classification is based on L2, L3 and L4 headers. This solution enables customer to pre-filter or categorize network traffic and reduce the amount of data for further application processing.
