Accelerated NIC Cards
The INVEA-TECH company offers hardware accelerated Network Interface Cards (NIC) for hi-speed monitoring and data transfers. They are available in multiport versions up to 10 Gbps. INVEA-TECH cards provide 100% packet or cell capture, regardless of interface type, packet size, or network loading. On top of this zero-loss performance, our cards offload the data handling workload from the CPU, allowing software applications to inspect and process traffic at much higher speed. The NIC cards support two modes of packet reception and transmission. Either they use a standard operating system interface (sockets) or they are capable to directly transport the data to and from software application with no assistance of operating system.
