FlowMon Plugins extend the FlowMon Collector functionality. They enable advanced NetFlow statistics analyzis and centralized, automated supervision over the availability and perfomance of network hosts and services.
Plugins for NetFlow Analysis
NetFlow Visualizer (NfVis) is a functional overlay of FlowMon Monitoring Center presenting a new approach of NetFlow analysis. This application uses colored directed graphs to show NetFlow flows. This enables the captured communication to be represented in a human-natural way and allows even non-IT specialists to easily analyze NetFlow data. The digraph method is advisable to be used for searching the most-communicating hosts and the most-utilized servers and links and enables easy network infrastructure optimalization. Plugins for Automated Network Supervision
For each network (which is not too small) is necessary to be regularly monitored for availability and performance of network hosts (servers, computers, switches, printers, ...) and services (e-mail, www pages, ...).
