NetCOPE FPGA Platform

The NetCOPE is a high performance scalable platform for rapid development of FPGA applications. The NetCOPE platform provides comprehensive FPGA design framework, which integrates hardware-dependent building blocks (network, PCI blocks) and provides generic interface to the customer's application core. With time-consuming performance, functional, and timing pattern issues resolved, designers can focus on the application core - dramatically reducing costs and time-to-market for FPGA design. Furthermore, the usage of NetCOPE platform enables the customers to design their solution independently of specific hardware boards, network physical interfaces and host bus systems.

Target applications

Rapid application evaluation/prototype/design for both OEM vendors and academic partners. The areas of NetCOPE usage include:

• Networking and Telecommunications: filtering, monitoring, IDS/IPS, VoIP applications, load balancing, cryptography
• High-performance I/O applications: multimedia, security, bioinformatics, etc.

NEW: NetCOPE for NetFPGA-10G

INVEA-TECH company together with ANT@FIT research group prepared the NetCOPE development platform for NetFPGA-10G cards. Now it is possible to use this platform for rapid development of FPGA applications with outstanding sustained software throughput of more than 12 Gbps no matter the packet size.
